What Can I Expect When Working With Stonedam Design on my Social Media?

Stonedam Design provides most (not all) common facets of social media strategy and content creation. I work in 3-month blocks; that is, I generate content in month zero that is scheduled over months 1, 2 and 3. A block produces 36 Meta posts total. For most businesses, I recommend 2 Instagram and 1 Facebook per week. During this process I also ensure your IG and FB pages are robustly configured.
The ultimate goal for your business is increased sales. I am attempting to
(1) convert current followers who have yet to make a purchase
(2) educate potential customers who are researching your business
(3) reach new potential customers who haven't heard of you yet
Together, we will do this through a mix of educational content, entertaining content, and engaging content.

Please share details of yourself, your business and your needs in the intake form. I'll reach out to schedule a 30-minute Zoom where we can ask one another questions. Sometimes the conversation reveals we aren't a good pairing!
If we are, I'll prepare a Proposal and Contract for e-signature. (Don't worry, you don't need special software to complete this) Payment is required in full prior to moving forward. Why? The nature of this service is unbalanced, with the heaviest work / time at the beginning.
Once the contract has been signed and payment received, we will schedule a few Zoom calls and your business will be given a lengthy worksheet. The purpose is for me to get to know your needs, your customers + your goals. For us to be successful, it's critical this is carefully and thoughtfully completed.
After I receive your responses, I'll take at least a week to work analyzing, strategizing and planning. This is the second-most labor intensive part of the process. We'll meet for a 1 hour Zoom where I'll review my ideas, ask questions, and present preliminary work to ensure we are on the same page.
Next is the Content Shoot: a ~3 hour session carefully planned in advance using the results of our Zoom. This will be done at your business. I'll bring my equipment, 'direct' and film you and/or others we agree upon ahead of time. 3 months of content are pulled from a single Content Shoot.*
I take 5-8 days for editing -- this is the most labor-intensive part of the process.
We'll have a final Zoom meeting ~1 hour long, scheduled the week before we start posting. I'll review and play the content for you to sign off on.
I'll manage the actual posting, including tags, captions, etc. Since Meta's Planner only lets you schedule about a month out at a time, this will be an ongoing activity during our 3 month block.
On day one, if you aren't already asking customers "How did you find us?" or a similar inquiry, you'll want to start that habit. There needs to be some form of measurement to determine how successful our shared efforts really are!
*For businesses that require more frequent shoots, price may increase

Who Is This Service For?
→ The brand-new business that wants to make a strong start in social media but doesn’t have the time and/or interest in doing this yourself. You might only want 3 months of posts to establish your presence before taking back the reins.
→ The established business or non profit that wants affordable, reliable and purposeful posts made to their Instagram and/or Facebook Business accounts.
› You may have tried assigning this task to employees in the past, with mixed results.
› Your established business may have little to no social media presence and you’re now deciding to set things up and get on the bandwagon.
› You may have considered hiring a part-time employee to do this work, but nixed the idea as you don’t have the capacity to effectively supervise the tasks.
Who Is This Service NOT For?
→ A non profit or business unable to engage in the collaborative process; I can’t produce content without your input and logistical support. (It is okay if you aren’t willing to talk into the camera)
→ A struggling business looking for a boost in sales to keep the lights on. Social media is a long-game situation.
→ A business that wants to “go viral” — trends aren’t strategy. It won’t grow your business, but purpose-driven content will.
→ A business or non profit outside our geographic zone. We are an Instagram (and Facebook) Content Creator in the Hanover, New Hampshire area and prefer to partner with businesses local to the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire.
→ A business or non profit looking for a social media partner to attend events in-person and/or shoot content weekly.
› We can strike the compromise of engaging one of your employees to capture content that is then uploaded to Stonedam Design; this will be billed at a custom rate.
How Much Does This Cost?
As a small business owner myself, I know how frustrating it is to have important information like this hidden behind a wall of conversation. That’s why I’ve made a standardized offering that should work well for many small / new businesses.
I offer 36 posts over a 3 month period and generally recommend allocating this as 2 weekly in Instagram and 1 weekly in Facebook. I believe in going heavy on video content.
A 3-month block is $2,000.
It’s easy to find social media firms priced at 2-10x what we charge in part because Stonedam Design doesn’t ‘do it all’:
- I don’t provide multi-slide presentations or PDF reports; I’ll ask you to track how your customers are finding you, and monitor Meta activity to determine what’s working, but cutting reports out of the equation keeps the bottom line affordable!
- I won’t be liking and following other accounts, responding to post comments and DM’s – customer service is the responsibility of the business
- I don’t design / run / manage Meta advertisements
- I only work in Instagram and Facebook
- I am only available for Content Shoot days Sundays, Mondays, or after 3pm on Saturdays
